چکیده

Bushfires have been a key concern for countries such as Australia long time. These must be mitigated to eradicate the associated harmful effects on climate and sustainable healthy environment wildlife. The current study investigates 2019–2020 bushfires in New South Wales (NSW) Australia. bush fires are mapped using Geographical Information Systems (GIS) remote sensing, hotpots monitored, damage is assessed. Further, an Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV)-based bushfire mitigation framework presented where can monitored instantly UAV swarms. For GIS datasets of Australian Bureau Meteorology VIIRS fire data products used, whereas paths UAVs optimized Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm. mapping results NSW show that 50% national parks were impacted by fires, resulting 2.5 million hectares land. highly clustered towards north southeastern cities its border region with Victoria. hotspots Deua, Kosciu Sako, Wollemi, Yengo National Parks. first step addressing issue disasters, context, adopted Rural Fire Service (RFS), before next season, map, assess, subsequently mitigate disasters. This will help move smart environment.
